Seanna Lawrence

Seanna Lawrence is the current Supervisor of Anti-racism, Reconciliation and Equity with Edmonton Public Schools. Originally a corporate lawyer by trade, Seanna moved into the field of diversity, equity and inclusion after experiencing a number of corporate environments that did not reflect her lived experience, foster a sense of belonging or amplify diverse perspectives. Seanna has led equity work with community not-for-profit organizations across Canada, as well as with the Federal Government. Self-identifying as a bi-racial, non-binary, person of colour, Seanna has a passion for bringing an intersectional lens to their work and creating safe and equitable spaces for all identities.
