The Conference
7 Hours of Powerful Talks
Feb 16 2024
12:30pm - 7:30pm
We're happy to be hosting our 2nd annual LOdown LIVE in partnership with Lillian Osborne's Jack.org club. This conference was created by the Student Solidarity Committee. This Committee works towards social action awareness and education, inclusion and anti-racism and equity at Lillian Osborne High School. With the support of the Parent Council and staff we were able create a space for speakers to share innovative ideas to help to inspire and engage the community in conversations. We hope to bring together bright minds to give focused talks on a wide range of subjects, to foster learning and provoke conversation that matter. Our topics for the year include Mental Health, Environment Sustainability, Science and Technology, and Diversity and Inclusion.

About SSC
What is SSC?
The Student Solidarity Committee (SSC) acknowledges the struggles of the students staff in our school, so our mission is to harness the social justice passion in our students and turn it into concrete actions to help both individuals and groups, especially those who belong to minorities, in our local community.
